Lucy Earle
Lucy Earle is an interdisciplinary artist based in Montreal. As an archivist and performance artist, she uses writing, music, and choreography to explore themes related to public space, transience, and community mobility. Often inspired by science fiction and ephemera, Earle takes a post-structuralist approach to her work and aims at questioning our gestures and routines in urban environments; both human and non. How do we make an effort to hide in the public sphere? At what lengths do we sacrifice our anonymity? It is through the means of performance, video, and archival research that Earle seeks to investigate these questions.
