Archival Research and Community Collective 

  • Currently working on a publication with a grant from the Canada Council of the Arts which will be an extension of the photography work and archival research developed by the project lead
  • I organise our meetings and outreach, and assist with research and writing

Creator and Performer

Exhibition of the results of my two month residency at Out of the Circle in Cairo

  • Presented a short video piece called Cairo Terrain which looks at the policing of public spaces by documenting an ‘eyes to the ground’ perspective while walking throughout various spaces throughout Cairo
  • Performed a 20 minute long movement piece which was devised by researching and documenting gestures I witnessed in public spaces. This was paired with an audio piece I created with field recordings taken throughout my residency and research
  • Presented a written work printed on fabrics which was used in the performance and engaged with by the audience after and before the performance took place

  • Created rehearsal schedule

Night Sweats – pervs/cité  2021

Collaborator/Director/Audio Visual, Montréal

  • Worked with a collective of artists over the course of 3 weeks to host performance art piece in a public alleyway in the Villeray neighbourhood 
  • Operated projections during the show and assistant directed the choreography

Falls – A staged reading 2021

Writer/Director, Montréal

  • Organised a staged reading of a play I wrote in a small public park in the Plateau neighbourhood
  • Created rehearsal schedule and managed the time of all 3 performers
  • Pulled off a very successful night of theatre for the public, and was delighted to intrigue park goers to join the audience during the performance

SPREAD Magazine 2020

  • Contributed a short story called ‘Call Centre’ to the third issue of SPREAD Magazine
  • Published alongside other successful writers and graphic artists mainly based in the Netherlands and Denmark
